Earlier last month, we informed you that the Irish government had announced that for those individuals on the Irish payroll that where not eligible for the TWSS, that we could claim what they called a ‘Sweepback’ for July and August 2020.

Whilst we did process the ‘Sweepback’, on 8^th October, the Irish Revenue announced that proprietary directors were not included in the Sweepback.

Therefore unfortunately, the first month you will receive the new EWSS is in the October payroll which relates to the September payroll claim (Revenue have paid this in arrears).

The EWSS is not shown on your payslip but it has been added to your agency income.
