If you notice your tax credits are less than they should be this month, or that you are paying more PAYE than you have done previously, we are are also aware of the situation. As was mentioned in our previous post, because of the introduction of Revenue's new PAYE Modernisation system, a number of tax credits have been issued incorrectly.

We have noted each individual case that is incorrect and have notified Revenue of the error. Unfortunately we are unable to amend your credits to the correct amount until revenue has dealt with the query. This is currently taking up to 25 days.

All tax credits will be corrected by February payroll, and any over deduction of tax from January 2019 payroll will be refunded to you in your February payslip.
